Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour and Nina Obuljen Korzinek met in Zagreb after the third round of interfaith dialogue between ICRO’s Center for Dialogue between Faiths and Cultures and religious thinkers of Croatia.
In the meeting, Hojat-ol-Islam Imanipour referred to interfaith dialogue as a shortcut to clarify facts and investigate responsibilities.
He said the responsibilities of religious leaders today are of great importance.
He also noted that constructive and practical dialogue can pave the way for the exchange of experiences between Iranian and Croatian religious leaders.
The ICRO chief also expressed Iran’s willingness to extend a memorandum of understanding signed with Croatia on cultural cooperation.
He invited the Croatian culture minister to visit Tehran for expansion of cultural interactions.

Korzinek, for her part, expressed readiness to facilitate the reopening of Iran’s Culture House in Croatia.
She also emphasized her country’s policy of supporting multiculturalism and providing opportunities for various cultures.
